Cookies Policy

The shortest policy on this site, because the reality is short: no cookies, three named local preferences, nothing transmitted.

What this site sets

No cookies. Three local preferences.

Cookies are small files a site places in your browser, usually to track or identify you across visits. This site sets none — not even one. It uses browser local storage for three clearly-named preferences that never leave your device:

kx-theme
Your light/dark theme choice
kx-consent
Your banner choice and its date
kx-checklist-build-order
Checklist progress on the Why This Website page

Your choice

The banner you saw on arrival makes the choice explicit: “Accept all” or “Essentials only”. Nothing on this site behaves differently between the two today, because nothing non-essential exists. You can change the choice at any time:

If analytics is ever added

Any future non-essential storage — for example privacy-respecting analytics — will load only after an explicit “Accept all”, will be named on this page before it ships, and “Essentials only” will keep working exactly as it does today.

Browser settings can clear local storage at any time; the site will simply ask again on your next visit.
