Fabrice has contributed to research on heterogeneous catalysis, including a major review of inverse oxide/metal catalysts for CO₂ hydrogenation to methanol.

Research focus

Conventional supported catalysts often consist of metal nanoparticles dispersed on an oxide. Inverse configurations place oxide species or nanostructures on a metal-rich surface, deliberately creating different metal–oxide interfaces — and those interfaces can strongly influence adsorption, activation and reaction pathways.

This theme demonstrates grounding in reaction engineering and materials chemistry, and supports the broader story of the site: interfaces control performance across catalysts, aerosols, emulsions and mineral systems.
