Sustainable Mineral & Critical-Material Processing

This theme leads the applied-engineering side of the site: it connects Fabrice's current industry direction with earlier mineral-processing publications and Phoenix Tailings experience.

Research focus

Value does not have to stay in the tailings pile. The recurring question across this theme is how separation efficiency can be improved while reducing waste and environmental burden — and how safety, environmental performance, risk and operational reliability are integrated into process decisions.

Publicly documented work spans flotation, copper/cobalt leaching, tailings reprocessing, rare-earth recovery and process improvement, together with publicly described interests in critical minerals from unconventional sources.

Impact message Resource efficiency and responsible recovery — treating tailings and secondary streams as part of the materials solution, not only a legacy problem.
